The check presentation for the proceeds from
The 7th annual Frederick Keys /
SunTrust Charity Golf Classic took place on Friday, August 30, 2002 at
Harry Grove Stadium at 6:40 pm. The Frederick Keys recognized the first
Joel's Kids recipients, Bruce Berry and Alaina Szymanski of the Challenger
Little League of Frederick County (MD). Thanks to Joel's Kids, Fred
Laliberte of the Challenger Little League of Frederick County (MD)
has
receives a $2,500 donation to purchase new uniforms and hats for each of the
50-plus children participating in the league next season.

The 6th annual Frederick Keys / SunTrust Charity Golf Classic
took place on Wednesday, August 22 at Harry Grove Stadium at 6:40
pm. The event raised $11,000 toward the Joel A. Stephens Memorial
Fund (Joel's Kids).

presentation for the proceeds from
The 5th Annual
Frederick Keys SunTrust Charity Golf Classic
took place on Thursday, August 10, 2000 at 6:45 pm before the Keys game.
Many people were involved in the success of this project, which
helped raise $8,000 for the Joel A. Stephens Memorial Fund
(Joel's Kids).
A check
presentation was held August 27, 2000 at Harry Grove
Stadium during the Frederick Keys' final home
game of the 2000 season. The check represented the
proceeds from the SunTrust
Home Runs
For Charity contest. Donna Carroll and Sue Strevig of
SunTrust presented a check for $2500.00 to Seymour Stern of the
Community Foundation of Frederick County. Keys first baseman, Franky Figueroa, who led the club with 10 home
runs hit at Harry Grove Stadium was on hand. Also in
attendance were Joel Stephens' older brother, Aaron, and his wife,
Nicole, and Mark Zeigler of the Frederick keys, who established
the Joel A. Stephens Memorial Fund.
